This Advanced Pre-filter is compatible with the ArrowMAX 1.0, ArrowMAX 1.2, ArrowMAX 2.0, Arrow 5, Eco-NX, and Eco 1.5 systems. It effectively removes 99% of chlorine and lead, and reduces VOCs, unpleasant odors, and turbidity.

It meets NSF 42 (for chlorine, taste, and odor reduction) and NSF 53 (for lead and VOC reduction) standards.

We recommend replacing the Advanced Pre-filter for up to 2L/m after 5,678 liters (1,500 gallons) and the Advanced Pre-filter for >2L/m after 4,000 gallons - or approximately 12 months, depending on usage.

How do you undo the push-to-connect or shark bite fittings?

Simply press down the collar and pull out the tubings.
What is the brown ring that comes with the advanced pre-filter?

The brown ring that comes with the advanced filter is not part of the installation. It can be used to optionally flush water through the pre-filter by placing the ring between the filter inlet and a faucet, applying pressure to the filter, and turning on the faucet. Alternatively, the pre-filter can simply be flushed while plumbed in-place.

Needed more brackets for new sized filters. Cindi was very helpful in getting me the brackets. I’ve had these filters in our RV and home. You can’t get safer and better tasting water. Acuva lets us travel with confidence that we are always drinking safe water. Our daughter in Texas installed an Acuva water system and it has paid for itself in savings from paying the bottle water people plus the water is better. Many of our RV friends have installed the 12 volt model which is easy to install. They use pex fittings which makes removal for winterization easy. Couldn’t live without it.

Originally we got the normal filter and it did quite well but just started using the advanced filter and it works fantastic! Water doesn't taste like anything which is how it should be.

ok well I believe the water system to be good, we will see over time how it holds up. but so far its great... now one thing I did in the install was to connect the 1/4 in water hose to a ( 1/2 in sweat / 3/8 shut off) and then got a 1/4 in adapter and got the little copper feed insert that goes inside the plastic feed line. That way the plastic water line is then reinforced by that little copper feed insert tube. so if you installed the plastic feed tube into a copper 1/4 , get that little copper insert ... a pretty easy install. and that will make the 1/4 in white hose to be much more strong and hold tight.

Install was easy, the water is pure with none of the nasty taste from chlorine and other added chemicals. We feel much better knowing that we have a reliable source of ultra clean water for drinking and cooking. Thanks for an amazing product !
