  • What if there is no LED light indication when the faucet is turned on and water is flowing?
  • What does it mean when the LED light is red?
  • What does it mean when the LED light is blinking yellow?

1. What if there is no LED light indication when the faucet is turned on and water is flowing?
1) Double check that the unit is connected to power and that the input voltage is within specifications (11-16V).
2) Make sure the inlet and outlet tubes are connected to the respective fittings marked “IN” and “OUT” on the device.
3) The flow rate may be too low. The flow sensor inside the unit requires a minimal water flow to activate the systems (approx. 0.3 Lpm). Make sure there is enough water pressure in the line to reach this flow. (12 PSI).

2. What does it mean when the LED light is red?
There may be an UV-LED fault. Unplug and plug in the device’s power jack. If this persists, contact Acuva for support at info@acuvatech.com or 1.604.431.9241

3.  What does it mean when the LED light is blinking yellow?
There may be low input voltage. Verify that the input voltage is above 11 volts.
